Fabulous mid-century Sirocco safari chair by the Swedish designer Arne Norell Sirocco in rosewood and original black leather. The chair has a beautiful rustic modern vibe: rugged black leather with white over-stiching on a rosewood frame. Norell’s Sirocco chair was the first chair in wood and leather to be produced by Scanform in the late 1960s, and the first one in Colombia to be exported to the United States. This chair was purchased by its original owner when he lived in South America and was likely manufactured by Scanform (it is not marked).

Good, wear consistent with age and use. Chair is sturdy and strong; light surface scratches on frame and leather; there is an age fissure about 5 inches long in the back of the front left leg that does not affect the structural integrity of the chair, it is almost invisible but it can be felt.
